About us We are a small and boutique childcare and kindergarten provider in northern metropolitan Melbourne. About the role We are looking an experienced and energetic Centre Director to lead our Brunswick West service. This is a fixed term contract (8 months)with potential opportunity to extend and grow with Dewdrops Early Learning. The expected period of engagement is July 2026 to February 2027. Our Brunswick West service offers programs for children from 6 months to 6 years through an intentional, play-based curriculum. In this role, you will be leading a small, dynamic and dedicated team of early childhood teachers and educators to best practice in education and care. You will be supported by an experienced and long-standing leadership team committed to continuous improvement and growth. As the Centre Director you will:
- Lead your team to achieve high quality educational programs for children, including working with a dedicated Educational Leader to support positive outcomes for children and families
- Mentor and support your team to achieve best practice through opportunities for learning and quality improvements
- Lead the development of the service environments, programs and connections with our local community including bush kinder, intergenerational programs, and community partnerships and events
- Manage the operational and compliance requirements of a busy and dynamic early childhood service. - Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood
- Experience as Centre Director or 2IC who has worked in a leadership capacity
- A solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Standards, including the child safety reforms
- Great leadership skills with a warm and compassionate manner
- A strong and genuine committment to the health, wellbeing and safety of children Benefits & Culture
