Position We are looking for a full‑time Chef to join our team at Brunswick. Compensation Salary: $77,000‑$80,000 per annum plus superannuation. Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking main meals, entrée and bread as per recipes provided.
- Working on new recipes to add dishes on restaurant menu.
- Inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food‑handling practices.
- Training apprentices and kitchen staff when required.
- Working with management for big events and following management instructions.
- Assisting restaurant management in catering when required.
- Storing food in temperature‑controlled facilities.
- Maintaining inventory and ordering restaurant supplies. Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualifications as Chef (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above).
- Minimum one year of experience.
- Positive knowledge of cuisine and spices.
- High level of discipline and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent personal hygiene and presentation.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
