About the Role
As our Cook, you’ll play an important role in preparing quality meals and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help ensure residents enjoy nutritious, delicious meals every day.
Your responsibilities Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements Assisting with food preparation and safe food handling Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen setting Monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures and completing basic records Assisting with ordering and stock control Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a positive dining experience
About You
You’re organised, reliable and enjoy working in a role where your work truly matters, with ideally at least 1 year’s experience as a commercial cook, as well as Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cleaning practices Strong teamwork and communication skills Basic computer skills (Outlook and internet use) A national police clearance (or willing to obtain) Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)
