We are seeking a Functions & Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of high quality functions and events at Caloundra RSL Services Club. This role is not just about managing events, it’s about driving business growth, maximising venue potential, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience. Located in the heart of Caloundra, our club has proudly served veterans, members, and the wider community for decades. **Who we are looking for**: As the Functions & Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our events and business growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing a sales-focused functions and events strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Proactively identifying and securing recent business opportunities, particularly in the corporate and private events market, to build repeat and long-term partnerships.
- Driving utilisation of our diverse venues and facilities by creating tailored event solutions that meet client needs.
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring the Functions & Events team to deliver seamless coordination and outstanding customer service.
- Managing budgets effectively to ensure commercial outcomes while maintaining premium service standards.
- Building strong client relationships to strengthen our brand reputation and encourage referral business.

**Pre-requisites**:

- 2-4 years experience in Business Development and/or Functions/Events management in the Hospitality Industry
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA)
- A strong knowledge of hospitality operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- A team player attitude with demonstrated leadership skills
