**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Location: Birtinya**

Join our Kilcoy Cuisine Solutions team, where you will lead and facilitate the New Product Development life cycle from initial conceptualisation to product release and process into BAU. The aim of this role is to manage an effective and efficient process that will enable Kilcoy Cuisine Solutions and its people to not only deliver streams of innovation but do so in a way that maximises success in this critical area.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have demonstrated experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally within a Technical or Quality Assurance role. Your key objectives will be to assist with delivery of the overarching strategy through leading and driving Cuisine Solutions activities, change initiatives and business unit engagement.

**YOUR RESPONSILBITIES**
- Lead and manage R&D; projects from initial concept to completion
- Manage inhouse and external trials and initiate factory trials when required
- Prepare documentation of all trial/sample information including specification and costing details
- Oversee shelf-life validation activities in conjunction with the Quality Manager and any external laboratory providers
- Follow market trends in areas such as makret
- Support Kilcoy Cuisine Solutions with customer queries
- Initiate, manage and monitor proactive collaborative research studies

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**

**You will bring with you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Food Sciences
- 7+ years in a similar role in FMCG
- Ability to display excellent judgement, drive, and initiative
- Demonstrated hands on approach
- Experience in project management
- Strong interpersonal communication, analytical organisational skills
- Proven track record in influencing and driving change
- Demonstrated leadership skills
