STEPS | Caloundra | Full Time 2 year contract | SEE Program Trainer At STEPS, we believe education changes lives. As a national not for profit and Registered Training Organisation, we exist to create opportunity, supporting people to build the skills, confidence and independence they need to participate in work and community life. Through the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program, we help individuals strengthen their language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills-unlocking pathways to employment, further study, and greater connection to their community. We're now looking for a full time passionate LLND Trainer to join our Caloundra campus and be part of this life changing work. Your Impact This is more than a training role. Every day, you'll support learners who may have faced barriers to education-helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and believe in what's possible. If you're driven by purpose and want your work to genuinely change lives, this role is for you. In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) training tailored to individual learner needs
- Create a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment where every learner feels supported
- Adapt your delivery for diverse cohorts, including those with learning barriers or low foundational skills
- Support student progression through assessments, progress tracking and goal setting
- Complete PTA assessments (training provided) and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to a program that empowers people to move toward employment, further study and independence What You Bring
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or higher)
- TAESS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with diverse learners and applying a learner-centred approach
- A creative, energetic and engaging delivery style
- Solid interpersonal skills and genuine empathy for learners
- Current Driver Licence, Blue Card, and ability to pass a National Police Check Why Join STEPS?
