Experienced Forwarder Operator Required (Picton Junction)

Total Harvesting Pty Ltd are seeking Full-Time Forwarder Operators working within and around the Bunbury and Manjimup regions. We are logging & chipping contractors who conduct both harvesting and haulage operations within the southern and great southern area, currently operating within pine and bluegum plantation sectors. We maintain a fleet of production and haulage vehicles, and pride ourselves on the standards we achieve. The role on offer is a relatively unsupervised small team position, operating in a high volume contracting environment. The role will be operating a Komatsu 895 Forwarder in thinnings operations A single cab Isuzu DMax is provided for work purposes if required. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the chosen position is mandatory. Skilled operators have the potential to earn between $81,900 and $130k per annum, plus superannuation dependant on ability. Essential Attributes:
- Experienced operator of forestry equipment, specifically a Forwarder.
- Experience working to targets and maintaining an optimal autonomous work ethic.
- Ability to work within a small team and also unsupervised.
- Ability to undertake basic mechanical repairs including hydraulic hoses.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures. Application Requirements:
- Detailed history of prior Forwarder Operations experience, with a minimum requirement of two years within the specific role.
- Ability to undertake a full medical prior to employment.
- Ability to undertake a drug and alcohol test prior to employment.
