- Access to our Employee Assistance Program and Company Chaplains The opportunity Reporting to the Production Superintendent, the role provides frontline leadership to an integrated team of operators, maintainers, and technicians, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with PLS standards, statutory requirements, and the plant operating philosophy. This is a 12-month maximum term role which operates on a 8:6/7:7 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region. Key Responsibilities

- Run and supervise MSDP shift operations (control room, pyro and hydro areas).
- Maintain safe, stable production within design limits and approved procedures.
- Monitor throughput/recovery/yield/purity and correct process deviations.
- Lead start-ups, shutdowns, isolations and changeovers.
- Coordinate shift maintenance (PPM and breakdowns) and manage Pronto work orders/close-out.
- Enforce PTW, isolations/LOTO and high-hazard chemical processing requirements.
- Complete shift handover and reporting (production, downtime, incidents) and elevate risks/issues. About You

- Section 26 Statutory Supervisor (or able to obtain) with a strong safety-first mindset.
- Proven shift supervisory experience in a high-hazard processing environment (hydro/pyro/chemical).
- Strong process monitoring and troubleshooting capability, with a focus on stable plant operation.
- Solid understanding of PTW, isolations/LOTO, risk assessments and incident investigation.
- Comfortable coordinating shift maintenance activities and prioritising breakdown response.
- Competent in CMMS (Pronto preferred) and confident completing accurate shift reporting.
- A proactive people leader who can coach, develop and hold teams to high standards.
