Technical Support Officer (Shire of Harvey)

Position This is a 6‑month fixed‑term, full‑time position commencing Term 3, 2026. The appointment will cover Harvey Senior High School (0.6 FTE) and WA College of Agriculture – Harvey (0.4 FTE). The Role The Technical Support Officer maintains the schools’ Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and network, ensuring reliability and sustainability to enhance the learning environment.
- Provide advice on technical issues and collaborate with administration to maintain and develop the network system.
- Offer technical support and training to all users on software applications and enable access to systems and resources.
- Install, troubleshoot, and conduct ongoing maintenance of information systems and ICT equipment in accordance with school business needs and Department of Education policies.
- Maintain accurate records of ICT assets and resources, and develop, implement, and monitor replacement plans.
- Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and work with a diverse range of people and professionals. Eligibility
- Be an Australian or Current Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the appointment term.
- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before commencement.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit.
