Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer Hatch is seeking a highly motivated Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join the Project Delivery Group (PDG) on a nine‑month fixed‑term basis. In this role you will lead and deliver technically complex engineering scopes within a cooperative, multidisciplinary project setting. Key responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of the Instrumentation and Control engineering scope of work
- Provide technical leadership and foster a committed, high‑performing team environment
- Develop discipline designs and engineering deliverables for feasibility studies and detailed design
- Contribute to capital cost estimates and project schedules
- Provide specialist I&C; input into multidisciplinary project teams
- Participate in formal engineering reviews, including HAZOPs and CHAZOPs
- Support construction, commissioning, and operational activities as required About You You hold a relevant engineering degree with experience aligned to CPEng requirements and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance. You bring proven design and engineering experience in the mining and metals sector or a similar heavy industry such as energy or infrastructure, along with exposure to construction, maintenance, or operational environments.

You possess current knowledge of industry and regulatory standards relevant to instrumentation and control systems and are confident ensuring design compliance with all applicable standards and internal procedures. With strong communication skills, you engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at a technical and interpersonal level.
