**A little about the role**
We are looking for a proactive and passionate Social Worker/Case Worker to join the Key Assets West Australian Team. You will be part of a collaborative integrated team working together to make a positive and lasting difference to child and young people through the provision of quality care in a family setting and provide regular support via face to face visits and telephone calls.
- You will work with foster carers and the children/young people in their care in a culturally responsive, trauma informed family centered way utilising a key care team approach.
- You will monitor and review the suitability and competence of foster carers ensuring they provide a safe, health, nurturing and learning environment
The base salary for this position is $88,090.08
- $94,788.72 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + vehicle or vehicle allowance + fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is a part-time 0.8 FTE permanent role.
**About you**
You will have substantial experience in a similar Social/Case Worker role within the social and community services sector with evidence of a proven track record in working with and or on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
- Must hold a recognised Social Work or other relevant degree level qualification
- You will have a sound knowledge of child protection procedures and relevant Child Protection legislation.
- Demonstrate the ability to work respectfully in partnership with wide range of stakeholders
- You will have the ability to communicate simply and effectively
- both verbal and written.
- If you are a self starter with the ability to work with a degree of autonomy, in a creative manner, with in Company policies and procedures
