Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per month Remote: Hybrid Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.About the RoleAs part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Auto Electrician professionals to join the team on a full‑time basis, working a 7/7 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive, and effective underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the mine.Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems on underground mobile equipment- Fault‑find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits- Install and maintain safety systems, lighting, communications, and machine telematics- Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability- Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in confined and challenging underground environments- Complete maintenance documentation and follow all site safety and compliance requirementsQualifications- Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician in underground mining- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards- Experience operating within production-focused underground environments- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures- Current and valid Australian driver’s licence- Relevant tickets, licences and qualifications for the role- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplaceBenefits- Competitive hourly rates with superannuation paid on all hours worked- Full‑time permanent employment on a long‑term underground gold project- $3,000 sign‑on bonus- Access Barminco’s Employee Referral Program – earn up to $10,000 per referral- Career progression opportunities within a global mining business- Industry‑leading training and development programs- Modern underground fleet and well‑maintained equipment- Employee discounts across health, retail, travel, entertainment and more- Supportive team culture focused on safety, respect and development- Opportunity to work on one of Australia’s premier sustainable mining operations Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3r17m9
