Various positions are available across our sites, including the KCGM Super Pit, Mt Charlotte Underground, Fimiston Underground, Kanowna Belle Operations, and South Kalgoorlie Operations. These residential roles operate on an 8/6 roster, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment in one of Australasia’s premier gold mining regions. Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide training and mentorship to Graduate Geologists, Mine Geologists and geology technicians.
- Coordinate the design, scheduling and oversight of drilling programs to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data for analysis, and liaise and communicate the plan with numerous stakeholders.
- Supervise drill contractors, demanding adherence to all relevant environmental, safety and security measures.
- Oversee the analysis, interpretation and modelling of geological data and contribute to mine planning reviews to communicate relevant geological data. Requirements Experience
- Minimum Three (3) years geology experience in a mining workplace, preferably within a gold mining operation, with experience in drill rig management.
- Experience with mining and geology software packages such as Datamine, Leapfrog and Acquire.
- Exposure to geological modelling and wireframing.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Geology (minimum degree).
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence. Perks and Benefits
