Engineer – Mining (Greenbushes)

Position Experienced Mining Engineer – Greenbushes (8 days on / 6 days off; reporting to Senior Engineer) Responsibilities
- Conduct all aspects of engineering work, predominantly in Production Mining and support as well as mine scheduling, in a timely manner.
- Provide technical and commercial support as required, including timely reporting of accurate site performance statistics.
- Identify and actively participate in business improvement initiatives.
- Assist site personnel with management of survey data and checks as required.
- Review and liaise with site personnel on client schedules, equipment allocation and expected costs and revenue.
- Maintain the production reporting system and associated site support.
- Support progress claim audits and forecast preparation for the project. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within an open-pit mining workplace on a large-scale mining project.
- Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent (recognised by Engineers Australia).
- Short-term planning skills and familiarity with current mine planning software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values.
