About The Role We are seeking a Shift Quality Laboratory Technician to join our local SHEQ team on a 12‑month maximum term contract, working 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts at our Kemerton TiO2 plant, north of Bunbury. Reporting to the Quality Laboratory Leader, this role provides essential QA/QC support to Operations through laboratory and pigment sample analysis, ensuring process and product quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and conduct laboratory and pigment sample analysis according to standard procedures.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, including XRF.
- Collect, analyze, and accurately report data using laboratory information systems.
- Apply quality control principles to meet manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot quality, process, and equipment issues.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory safety and WHS compliance.
- Manage shift coverage and adapt to changing priorities. Qualifications
- Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or higher equivalent.
- Ability to work safely and independently on 12‑hour day and night shifts.
- Previous experience in an industrial laboratory setting (highly advantageous).
- Robust attention to detail and good problem‑solving skills.
- Experience operating XRF (highly advantageous). Benefits
