Job Description How you can make an impact We’re looking for a Intermediate Accountant to join our Bundaberg taxation team. This is an opportunity to work on diverse and complex tax matters, contribute insights that guide sound financial decisions, and play a meaningful role in both our clients’ and our team’s development. What you will do
- Prepare and review financial statements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
- Work as part of a team to deliver a range of high‑quality compliance and business advisory services to our clients.
- Support advisory work under the guidance of managers and partners, using your technical strengths to inform next steps.
- Prepare to draft level budgets and cash flows for business planning and management purposes. Desired Skills and Experience
- Ideally 3+ years working in public practice and in business services.
- Undergraduate qualifications (essential) and postgraduate qualifications (or working towards this).
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax rules, with experience in corporate, partnership, trusts and high‑net‑worth individual taxation matters.
- Experience with MYOB AE, MYOB Account Right, Xero, and System Release programs.
- Professional presentation and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client service. Desired Qualities
