Global Head of Supply Chain (Bundaberg Central)

About the Role Aletek is a well-established partner to tier-one mining and natural resource companies around the globe. We deliver emissions and thermal protection solutions to our clients throughout six countries (and growing). As the Head of Global Supply Chain, you will enjoy taking Aletek to a new level of efficiency globally. We are looking for energy and experience as we transform our supply chain capabilities. Responsibilities
- Develop Global Supply Chain Strategy: Design and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with Aletek’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure teams maintain the highest standards of safety for people, equipment, and facilities across the supply chain network.
- Drive Cost Optimization and Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and lean practices throughout the end-to-end supply chain.
- Oversee Sourcing and Procurement: Lead global sourcing, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure sustainable and ethical supply practices.
- Manage Demand and Supply Planning: Oversee forecasting, sales & operations planning (S&OP;), and inventory optimization to meet customer demand efficiently.
- Oversee Logistics and Distribution: Manage global logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Implement Digital Supply Chain Solutions: Drive digital transformation projects, including systems for planning, traceability, and real-time analytics.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Ensure raw materials and products meet Aletek’s quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements.
- Build Supplier Relationships and Risk Management: Develop strategic supplier partnerships, dual-source strategies, and risk mitigation plans to ensure supply chain resilience.
- Lead and Develop Global Supply Chain Team: Build, mentor, and engage a high-performing, multicultural team aligned with Aletek’s core values.
- . Coordinate with Engineering and Suppliers to develop new products and sources. Qualifications Skills and Qualifications
- Degree (or international equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (required).
- 5+ years in senior global supply chain leadership roles in a manufacturing.
- Experience managing small to medium-sized, multicultural teams across multiple regions.
- Global experience in Project Contracts and Procurement, and Supply Management for major customer projects
- Proven track record in global sourcing, procurement negotiations, NPI support, and supply chain strategy development.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP;, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing operations.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, compliance, and sustainability practices.
- Training and experience in project management. Key Competencies
