Electrical Engineer (Bundaberg East)

GHD’s Wide Bay team is expanding. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer based in Bundaberg or Hervey Bay to strengthen our electrical capabilities across the region. Responsibilities
- Lead and support projects in Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Local Government, Lighting and Building Services.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Manage project resources and maintain budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and kick‑off meetings.
- Assist other electrical engineers on larger projects. Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering; Chartered status (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ) highly desirable.
- Ideally 5 years experience in an EPC or consulting environment, with significant experience gained in the Australian market.
- Experience in power generation projects (conventional and renewable), detail design, and technical due diligence.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including report writing.
- Ability to be a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders. Location Based in either Bundaberg or Hervey Bay, within the Wide Bay region.
