Cook (Burleigh Waters)

Mexicano Del Rey in Burleigh Heads is a long-running, family-run restaurant looking for someone who genuinely wants to work in hospitality and has some kitchen experience, and is looking to become part of a supportive long-term team. We are looking to train someone across all areas of our kitchen, including prep, bulk cooking, solo lunch service and busy night services. The bulk cooking role does involve heavy lifting and working with large pressure cookers. This is not a chef position. We are looking for someone happy to work within an established restaurant, follow set recipes and learn our systems. The role starts at around 20 hours per week while training, with the chance to move into a more permanent part-time position for the right person. Please note:
