**About the Role**

UGG Since 1974 is seeking a talented and experienced **Fashion Designer** to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the design and development of our collections, ensuring alignment with brand identity, market trends, and commercial objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research and analyse fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market conditions to inform seasonal design direction.
- Develop innovative design concepts for clothing, accessories, or footwear, including themes, color palettes, fabrics, and styling.
- Create sketches, illustrations, and digital designs using CAD or similar software.
- Select and source fabrics, trims, and materials, balancing quality, cost, and production requirements.
- Develop patterns, prototypes, and samples in collaboration with pattern makers and machinists.
- Fit, evaluate, and refine garments to ensure design intent, fit, and quality standards are achieved.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications, including measurements and construction details for production.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure designs are accurately produced.
- Oversee production processes to maintain quality, timelines, and design integrity.
- Monitor costs and work within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and sales teams to align designs with brand strategy.
- Present design concepts and collections to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of designs and development processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, sustainability practices, and ethical sourcing requirements.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Fashion Design or a related field; **or**:

- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.

**Skills & Attributes**
- Strong creative and technical design skills
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. CAD)
- Excellent attention to detail and garment construction knowledge
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage timelines and budgets effectively
