Established in 1998, Oceanside Services is a highly respected Gold Coast plumbing and maintenance company with a team of more than 40 staff across operations, administration and management. We service a broad range of commercial, strata, retail, hospitality and residential clients across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. We are now seeking an experienced Plumbing Project / Service Manager to join our growing leadership team. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage projects, lead technicians, communicate with clients and suppliers — while also being willing to jump on the tools and assist hands-on when required. What We Do Our team handles a broad range of plumbing and maintenance services including:
- General plumbing maintenance
- Service Level Agreements
- Critical infrastructure repairs
- Emergency repairs and reactive maintenance
- Pump repairs and maintenance
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Installations and replacements

About the Role As the Plumbing Project / Service Manager, you will oversee plumbing projects and maintenance operations from start to finish while supporting and leading a team of technicians in the field. You'll be responsible for coordinating jobs, solving problems, maintaining client relationships, ensuring operational efficiency, and helping uphold the high standards our clients expect. This role requires someone who is practical, organised, technically experienced, and capable of making confident decisions under pressure. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of plumbing repairs, maintenance and installation projects
- Coordinate scheduling, workflow and project progress tracking
- Supervise, mentor and support plumbing technicians and apprentices
- Attend sites to inspect works, troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
- Assist hands-on with selected jobs where required
- Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships
- Manage team performance and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Ensure accurate invoicing, job documentation and compliance records
- Oversee inventory and materials for active and upcoming projects
- Promote and uphold company safety standards and compliance
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules for key commercial clients
- Review service records and forecast future plumbing requirements
- Utilise Simpro for scheduling, quoting, reporting and job management
- Ensure technicians maintain accurate job notes, photos and compliance documentation What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial and/or domestic plumbing maintenance
- Current QLD Plumbing Licence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid technical plumbing knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Solid understanding of plumbing regulations and safety practices
- Experience managing technicians, projects or service operations
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Tech-savvy with experience using Simpro or similar job management software
- Solid customer service and relationship management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
