About the Role

We are a growing high-end lighting company delivering premium commercial projects across Australia. We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Lighting Technician / Assembly Assistant to join our team in Burleigh Heads.

This role involves assisting with the assembly, preparation, and packaging of custom lighting products within a fast-paced workshop workplace. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a positive attitude toward hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities Solder LED strip lighting and electrical components Cut and prepare aluminium extrusion and lighting materials Assist with assembly and workshop production tasks Organise stock, components, and materials Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch to commercial projects Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop setting Perform quality checks on completed products before dispatch Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required

Skills & Experience Experience with soldering, electronics, or assembly work preferred Electrical background or industry knowledge highly regarded Experience in lighting, fabrication, manufacturing, or workshop environments advantageous Ability to use hand and power tools safely Robust attention to detail and workmanship Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
