Project Coordinator / Construction Coordinator We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction, project administration, or project coordination who enjoys bringing structure, organisation, and efficiency to fast-paced projects. You will play a key role in supporting Project Managers and helping ensure projects run smoothly from procurement through to completion and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping projects on track, managing documentation, and coordinating multiple stakeholders. About the Role As a Project Coordinator you will be based in Burleigh Heads, you will provide critical support across project delivery, procurement, document control, and estimating functions. You will be responsible for maintaining project systems, coordinating communications, and ensuring key project information is accurate, current, and accessible. Key Responsibilities
- Manage project document control and maintain accurate project records
- Coordinate and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
- Follow up subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and quotations
- Support procurement activities and supplier coordination
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration
- Maintain and manage project information within Procore and Aconex
- Assist with estimating and tender support activities
- Coordinate operation manuals, warranties, and handover documentation
- Ensure compliance with established systems, procedures, and project processes
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Contracts Administrator, or similar construction support role
- Strong understanding of construction project workflows and procurement processes
- Experience using Procore, Aconex, or similar project management platforms
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and document management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
