Core Talent is partnering with a growing civil engineering business seeking a motivated and organised Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Homebush.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within accounts and administration. Working closely with the wider team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business across finance, payroll support, supplier coordination, and general administration.

This is a fully office-based role offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow within a supportive environment. Onsite parking available.

Key Responsibilities

Managing shared accounts and invoice inboxes

Processing invoices, bills, receipts and credit notes

Uploading and coding supplier invoices within Xero

Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems

Handling supplier and invoice queries

Assisting with contractor payments and supplier payment runs

Reconciling supplier statements

Supporting payroll preparation and timesheet processing

Chasing outstanding timesheets, invoices, and compliance documents

Completing credit applications and maintaining account records

About You

1+ years experience in administration, accounts, finance support, or office coordination

Strong attention to detail and high level of organisation

Confident communicator with the ability to follow up professionally

Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities

Experience using Xero or similar accounting software highly regarded

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
