Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. You will work collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences and contribute to the smooth operation of our food service department.
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a commercial kitchen or short order cooking environment
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control standards
- Follow recipes, dietary requirements, and production schedules accurately
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP principles
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Support stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation practices About You
- Previous commercial cooking or short order cooking experience
- Experience working in healthcare, aged care, hospitality, or food service environments highly regarded
