**About the Role**

The ED Technical assistant is an essential member of a dynamic team who assists with early initiation of pathology investigations to support early decision making.

The role requires experience in venepuncture and IV cannulation with opportunity to build proficiency in these techniques through experience and training in the position. Ideally suited to those entering health care careers to consolidate core skills for the future.

- Previous experience in venepuncture and cannulation or willing to undertake appropriate training and credentialing.
- Effective organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to commit to a roster providing afternoon and evening cover 7 days a week, including working 1 in 2 weekends.
