Are you passionate about gardening and want to use your skills to support people with disabilities? Join our Gardening Team, where you’ll not only maintain beautiful outdoor spaces but also mentor and empower people with disabilities to develop their social and lifestyle skills.
**About the Role**
- Reporting to the Senior Social Facilitator, the Crew Coordinator plays a hands-on role in:
- Supervising and mentoring Supported Employees in gardening and landscaping tasks
- Providing one-on-one training to help individuals achieve personal goals
- Assisting with case notes and goal setting to track employee progress
- Maintaining outdoor spaces across private yards and public facilities, such as schools
**What We’re Looking For**
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Gardening or landscaping experience
- from private gardens to larger facilities
- Great communication skills to positively support and mentor team members
- A proactive and reliable attitude with a passion for making a difference
- A current driver’s licence with the ability to travel across Sydney
- A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to undergo required checks, including NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check, and a National Police Check
