Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Strathfield)

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher with a talent for engaging students to think mathematically through questioning, communicating, reasoning and reflecting. You will be adept at fostering students ability to find connections and understand complex mathematical concepts at a level that every student can grasp, irrespective of ability. This role will commence on Monday 20 July 2026. You will be committed to the achievement of excellence as a classroom teacher; a strong collaborator; and confident in effective pedagogy and classroom management. - A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
- Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
- Qualified to teach Mathematics
- Stage 4 to Stage 6 with NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
- Demonstrated excellence as a classroom practitioner.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management through clear expectations, proactive behaviour strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrated success in differentiation of curriculum.
- Effectively incorporates ICT into teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
