Position: Guest Service Supervisor Type: Full-time Location: Vasse, WA, 6280 Pay: Above-award hourly rates aligned with experience Job Opportunity: Guest Service Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at our Vasse store. Reporting to the Guest Service Manager, this hands-on leadership role is centred on overseeing the Guest Service team of cashiers and ensuring our guests receive a consistently high standard of service each time they visit. About Us: Bunbury Farmers Market is a leading regional independent retailer of fresh produce and Market Made meals, with high‑quality specialist departments including our Gourmet Butcher/Deli, Dairy, Groceries, Sweet and Savoury Pastries, and Café. Role Summary: This role is responsible for leading our team of cashiers and maintaining the standards of service, presentation, and efficiency expected within a busy retail environment. You will balance team leadership with day‑to‑day operational oversight, ensuring register areas run smoothly and guest enquiries are handled professionally. The Ideal Candidate:

- You are genuinely customer-focused — not performatively friendly, but the kind of person who anticipates what a guest needs before being asked. In a Farmers’ Market environment where regulars are loyal and expectations are high, that instinct matters enormously. What You Will Bring:
- Full, unrestricted rights to live and work in Australia
- Proven leadership experience within a high‑volume retail or hospitality environment
- Strong roster management and team coordination skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, practical approach to problem‑solving and guest service
- Reliability and flexibility to work a four‑day roster, including one weekend day each week Your duties will include:
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of approximately 30 cashiers
- Managing rosters to ensure appropriate coverage while maintaining labour efficiency
- Overseeing register operations and maintaining an organised front‑of‑house environment
- Identifying training needs and supporting the ongoing development of team members
- Acting as the first point of escalation for guest enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
- Monitoring cash handling procedures and supporting accurate financial reconciliation
- Maintaining a visible presence on the floor and leading by example during busy trading periods
- Working closely with store leadership to uphold service standards and support store performance Why Join Us?
