About the Role: We are seeking Casual Maintenance Officers to join our team to help support us with leave coverage and a number of upcoming projects. The responsibilities revolve around general maintenance and upkeep of the residential facilities and surrounding grounds. You will be based primarily in Dunsborough, with occasional support required in our Busselton facility. The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for:
- General maintenance of the internal and external setting
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment
- Complete ad-hoc maintenance requests from internal stakeholders
- Source necessary parts and materials to complete tasks
- Liaise with contractors regarding maintenance requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe working environmentProactively identify maintenance efficiencies and opportunities
- Assist with general facility operational needs
- Electrical testing and tagging (training provided) About You – Key Requirements to be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated experience in repair/maintenance roles
- Sound practical and problem‑solving skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Caring and patient attitude, and the ability to interact with our residents
