About the Role A leadership position for an experienced Coordinator Customer Service in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale. The role involves shaping a customer‑first culture, leading the service centre team in Byford and Mundijong, and integrating the Shire’s Customer Service Charter. Key Responsibilities
- Coach and develop a team of customer service staff, ensuring they are supported, empowered and equipped to respond with professionalism, empathy and efficiency.
- Strengthen systems, processes and partnerships that underpin service delivery; oversee key platforms and contracts while driving continuous improvement.
- Promote accountability and embed the Shire's Customer Service Charter through collaboration with service teams, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience for customers. Qualifications
- Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams, drive positive cultural change, manage performance and influence staff to deliver exceptional customer service outcomes.
- Experience in managing and optimising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, analysing customer data, identifying trends and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to effectively engage, influence and build strong relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in a coordinator role or comparable leadership position. Benefits
