Description
Position Workplace Learning Support Officer – a permanent full‑time role commencing Term 3 2026. The Officer will support students undertaking work placements, conduct workplace visits, locate and secure appropriate industry placements, and maintain the Duty of Care for Public School Student policies. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting students from diverse backgrounds and working collaboratively with staff to improve student outcomes.
- Maintaining databases, preparing paperwork and correspondence, and providing reports and monitoring student data.
- Ensuring students meet the demands of the Workplace Learning program to support Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) achievement.
- Building collaborative relationships with VET teachers, employers, students, and parents. Eligibility
- Australian or Recent Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Valid Working With Children Check before start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before start.
