We’re a local business providing bookkeeping, administration, and consulting services to a growing client base across the Northern Rivers. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Administration & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our small, supportive team in our Byron office.
**About the role**
In this role, you’ll manage your own set of clients as their account manager, delivering professional administrative and bookkeeping support while helping to ensure our office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Key responsibilities:_
- Providing administrative and basic bookkeeping support for assigned clients
- Performing reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting using Xero
- Managing client communications, scheduling, and documentation
- Assisting with project coordination and deadlines
- Maintaining office organisation, supplies, and systems
- Assisting the director

You’re organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a client-focused role. You communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing, and you take pride in delivering exceptional service.
- Requirements:_
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administration role
- Proven experience with Xero (essential)
- Confident using Google Mail (Gmail), Microsoft Office, and Apple OS
- Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner
- Experience in project management preferred
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Full working rights in Australia (required)
