**POSITION OVERVIEW**: As Assistant Bar Manager, you’ll be a key part of the leadership team, working closely with the Bar Manager and Venue Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day bar operations. You’ll help lead, train, and inspire the bar team, maintain Light Years’ high drink standards, and ensure an unforgettable guest experience. With a hands-on approach, you’ll support stock control, financial procedures, and overall bar efficiency while fostering a vibrant and engaging workplace culture.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Bar Manager in leading a high-performing bar team.
- Assist with training and development to ensure consistency and quality in all beverages.
- Maintain stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including liquor licensing compliance.
- Work closely with the Venue Managers to monitor KPIs and enhance operational performance.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensuring speed, consistency, and creativity in drink service.
- Oversee bar presentation, cleanliness, and efficiency, ensuring a seamless workflow.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Experience in a high-volume bar or hospitality venue.
- A passion for cocktails, spirits, and premium beverage service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A hands-on, team-oriented attitude with a focus on training and development.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to consistency.
- Knowledge of Asian-inspired cocktails is a bonus but not essential.
