Experienced Cocktail Bar Manager (Byron Bay)

**Job Overview**: **Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Create and maintain an innovative cocktail menu that aligns with our plant-based and sustainable philosophy.
- Train, manage, and motivate the bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock ordering, minimising waste and controlling costs.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients and beverages.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest standard and delivered in a timely manner.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, handling any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and local competition, continually improving the bar’s offerings and services.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender in a high-paced, hospitality environment.
- Robust mixology skills and a deep understanding of classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Understanding of sustainable practices and commitment to our eco-friendly ethos.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- RSA Certification in NSW required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00
- $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30
- 40 per week
