We’re a local business providing bookkeeping, administration, and consulting services to a growing client base across the Northern Rivers. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Administration & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our small, supportive team in our Byron office.
About the role
In this role, you’ll manage your own set of clients as their account manager, delivering professional administrative and bookkeeping support while helping to ensure our office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities:_
Providing administrative and basic bookkeeping support for assigned clients
Performing reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting using Xero
Managing client communications, scheduling, and documentation
Assisting with project coordination and deadlines
Maintaining office organisation, supplies, and systems
Assisting the director
About you
You’re organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a client-focused role. You communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing, and you take pride in delivering exceptional service.
Requirements:_
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administration role
Proven experience with Xero (essential)
Confident using Google Mail (Gmail), Microsoft Office, and Apple OS
Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner
Experience in project management preferred
Solid organisational and time-management abilities
Full working rights in Australia (required)
