Customer Service Assistant (Byron Bay)

Baz and Shaz Fruit and Veg is looking for its next customer service superstar!

We are looking for a friendly and reliable team member to join our local green grocer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with fresh produce and grocery items whilst providing great customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serving customers in a friendly and skilled manner
- Operating EFTPOS and handling cash transactions
- Keeping shelves well-stocked, clean, and attractively presented
- Assisting in unpacking deliveries and putting stock on display
- Maintaining cleanliness and general presentation of the store

About You:

- A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Willing to learn on the go about our substantial grocery offerings in store to help inform customers of their options.
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet
- Retail or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Able to show initiative and take on responsibility
- 7 day a week availability is preferred but can be adaptable for the right person
- A passion for healthy food and healthy living!
