**The Role**

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

- Develop, implement and lead Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with food safety standards (HACCP, etc.)
- Oversee all compliance, certification, and risk mitigation processes across the chocolate factory
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving product excellence and operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with Production and Procurement teams to ensure traceability and consistency
- Lead and mentor the Chocolate Making team, supporting their growth and success

**Responsibilities**

**Quality Systems & Compliance**
- Design and manage QMS across production and supply chain
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits, manage risk assessments, and stay up to date with food safety legislation

**Continuous Improvement**
- Analyse quality data to identify gaps and implement improvements
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation across departments

**Team Leadership**
- Train and guide Chocolate Makers, ensuring clarity of roles and continuous development
- Manage QA scheduling and resources
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

**What We’re Looking For**
- Degree in Food Science, Quality Management or a related field OR 1+ years in a QA role in food manufacturing/FMCG
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety standards, and relevant legislation
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Analytical thinker with high attention to detail
- Passion for sustainability, wellness, and high-integrity food production
