Bar Supervisor/manager (Byron Bay)

Saltwater Social Club is Byron Bay's premier social hub—a lively, two-storey nightclub in the centre of Byron Bay. We blend **laid-back vintage coastal vibes** with high-energy nightlife, complete with live DJs, hand-crafted cocktails, and an iconic balcony overlooking Jonson Street.

We're looking for a **passionate, hands-on Duty Manager** to be the operational heart of our venue during the peak of the action. If you’re a natural leader who can maintain **high vibes** while ensuring a **seamless, compliant, and protected environment** until the early hours, this is your opportunity!

**Your Mission: Leading the Vibe**

As the Duty Manager, you will represent the management team, taking full accountability for the club's operation during your shift.
- **Own the Shift**: Be the key decision-maker responsible for the successful execution of all nightly operations, from opening to close (often until 3 AM).
- **Lead the Crew**: Inspire, coach, and direct our team of bartenders, floor staff, and security, ensuring warm, friendly, and high-quality service that reflects the "Salty's" culture.
- **Guest First**: Proactively ensure guest satisfaction, and expertly handle any on-shift issues or complaints to guarantee everyone leaves with a smile.
- **Financial Flow**: Manage end-of-night cash handling, point-of-sale reconciliation, and inventory control with precision.
- **Stay Compliant**: Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and strict adherence to all NSW liquor licensing (RSA) regulations.

**What You Bring to the Club**
- **Experience**: Proven leadership experience (Bar Senior, Supervisor, or Duty Manager level) in a high-volume bar, club, or restaurant environment is preffered.
- **Vibe**: A genuine passion for Byron’s coastal lifestyle and the ability to work in a lively, late-night setting.
- **Compliance**: Mandatory current **NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)** certification.
- **Skill**: Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and clear communication skills.
- **Availability**: Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
