Cellar Door Team Member / Bartender Byron Bay

Cape Byron Distillery is looking for a recent team member to join our Cellar Door Crew!

We are a leading Australian Independent and family-owned distillery producing our range of Brookie’s Gin products. Our company is ingrained in our local community and continuously seeks to positively impact our workplace.

This is a special role for someone who shares our values, our passions, loves our gin, knows their way around cocktails, understands what motivates us, and wants to be a part of a growing team. We have a passion for excellence, sustainability, and giving back to our community.

The role will include:

Telling the Cape Byron Distillery story

Hosting tours and educating guests about the art of distillation and Australian native botanicals used in our gin

Preparing and serving mixed drinks and cocktails

Opening and closing of the cellar door

Complying with liquor license regulations and COVID restrictions

Adhere to the Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation

Manage stock, day to day transactions and float counts accurately

Our new team member will:

Hold a current NSW RSA

Have strong communication and public speaking skills

Have knowledge about distilled spirits, including gin and single malt whisky

Be an Australian citizen or have a valid working visa

Have a driver’s license

Extra bonuses are:
