About This Chance
Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes and much more.
Working as part of an enthusiastic team in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge is desired, but not essential
Ability to lead and manage a team
Ability to order and control costs
Accurate team rostering
Passion and enthusiasm with a very "hands‑on" approach
Unparalleled commitment to customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with both team members and management
A flair for merchandising
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Ability to coach, train and performance‑manage teams
Commitment to work health and safety standards
