Oshc Educator (Caboolture)

Position Casual | Multiple Positions Available – $*** to $*** per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience; junior rates may apply). Location PCYC Caboolture East Fun Squad. Overview You will be a valued Educator who provides high‐quality practices to ensure a protected, inclusive, and engaging workplace for children. You will be responsible for interacting with and effectively supervising the children while working as a team to deliver high‐quality, seriously fun programs. A key focus of this role is to acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs, and interests of each child while inspiring a supportive culture of safety and safeguarding children in line with PCYC Queensland values. Qualifications No formal qualifications are a prerequisite for this position. Qualified Educators must hold a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children. Recognised study areas include: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies. Experience working within the Fun Squad or long‐day care sector (desirable). Ability to respond to the needs of children to ensure high‐quality fun meets agreed standards. Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or be able to obtain one – desirable). Working With Children Check (Blue Card) is required; No‐Card, No‐Start and Restricted Person legislation applies.
