Job Overview At dnata catering & retail, you will be central to our Production team, working in a busy, open‐plan kitchen preparing and cooking a variety of international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities for our customer airlines. Following the Master Production Schedules (MPS), you will ensure meals are cooked to specification, including dietaries and allergens for each scheduled flight. Responsibilities In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are: Preparing hot and cold meals for business and economy class passengers for various airlines, in commercial quantities (up to 3,000 a day) Managing stock control and minimizing food wastage Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times Strictly following menu specifications as well as Food Safety / HACCP, QA & WHS requirements Working closely with other chefs, liaising with and directing Catering Attendants and Production Leading Hands who will set up, pack, and load the meals for delivery or cold storage (cook/chill) Qualifications What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
