About the Role We are looking for a high-impact Sales Manager to lead from the front and drive growth within our Direct Division. This is not a desk-based management role. You will be responsible for building momentum in the market, driving new business acquisition through your team, and maintaining strong engagement with customers and opportunities. You will lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring disciplined execution, strong pipeline growth, and consistent performance, while also playing an active role in key deals and customer engagements. What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead From the Front
- Maintain an active presence in the market, engaging with customers and opportunities
- Support and influence key deals, particularly in early-stage and high-value opportunities
- Set the standard for sales behaviour, energy, and professionalism Drive New Business Growth
- Build and maintain strong pipeline coverage across the team
- Drive consistent prospecting and opportunity creation
- Identify and act on competitive opportunities in the market Own Team Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals
- Drive accountability against sales targets and activity benchmarks
- Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews
- Manage underperformance and lift overall team capability Pipeline, Forecast & Execution
- Own the accuracy and progression of the sales pipeline
- Lead structured pipeline reviews and ensure deals are progressing
- Deliver reliable forecasts and identify gaps early
- Drive disciplined use of CRM (Salesforce) across the team Commercial & Deal Leadership
- Support your team in structuring and progressing opportunities
- Provide guidance on pricing, positioning, and competitive strategy
- Ensure strong commercial discipline across all deals
- Escalate and collaborate on major opportunities with senior leadership Retention & Installed Base Growth
- Ensure strong engagement across existing customer accounts
- Drive proactive management of contract renewals and retention
- Oversee execution of QBRs for key customers
- Identify opportunities for fleet upgrades, refresh cycles, and expansion
- Monitor and act on at-risk accounts About You
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B, solutions-based environment
- Strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets
- A natural “hunter” who is still active and credible in front of customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and drive performance through a team
- Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting complex deals
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
