**About the role**

This is a dual role for both Laundry and Cleaning. This position exists to provide exceptional cleaning and housekeeping services at the facility to maximise resident wellbeing.

The position will essentially undertake to;
- Provide a safe, clean, quality home that promotes person centred care.
- Compliance with all State and Regulatory requirements in relation to cleaning and housekeeping services.
- Practicing and demonstrating the values, mission, vision, policies and procedures of Regis
- Demonstrating Continuous Quality Improvements in all aspects of service delivery and self-development.
- Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift
- Working as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit
- Complete reporting and documentation based on Regis policy and procedure
- Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake activities in the daily cleaning and housekeeping program to meet resident’s needs.
- Encourage and empower all residents and staff to bring cleaning and housekeeping service related matters to your attention.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.

**About You**
- Experience in performing cleaning duties in a large organization.
- Knowledge of cleaning products.
- Certificate II in Hospitality
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate desirable
- Experience in the safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
- Previous experience in a laundry capacity/commercial laundry
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care or Aged Care setting
- Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
- Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
- A current, satisfactory police certificate

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, seasonal Influenza vaccinations, proof of work rights and certification proof.
