We currently have an excellent opportunity available at Fiorelli Restaurant, open 7 days a week, lunch and dinners. Seeking a dynamic experienced Chef/Cook to join our dedicated team. KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Commercial Cookery Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role for at least 2 years in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passionate about high quality food
- A high level of hygiene standards and personal presentation
- Positive clear communicator
- Positive attitude, teamwork and ability to thrive under pressure
- Reliable, punctual and efficient
- Work fast, clean and motivate team by leading by example
- Deliver high quality dishes, consistently well
- Following and enforcing workplace health and safety requirements
- Working with head chef to meet the food and kitchen budget
- Developing kitchen services standards that ensure efficiencies and compliance JOB DESCRIPTION
- Food prep and food production of a la carte cooking
- Kitchen set up and breakdown pre and post service
- Practice and maintain a safe work environment
- Follow food safety practices
- Stock control and rotation
- Supervision of apprentices and kitchen attendants
- Communication with front of house and back of house staff
- A team player Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour Experience:
