Aquaculture General Hand Cobbitty

Green Camel Organic Produce is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as an Aquaculture General Hand. This is a unique prospect to join the rapidly growing aquaculture industry.

As an Aquaculture General Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our aquaculture operations and maintaining the overall health and productivity of our aquatic environment.

Responsibilities:

Utilise basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.

Weigh feed each morning and ensure proper feeding procedures are followed.

Collect tank data each morning, including temperature, pH levels, and water quality measurements.

Perform routine tank maintenance and general cleaning to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the fish.

Assist in the setup for fish harvest and fish grading activities.

Process system wastes for onsite projects.

Requirements:

No experience needed, training provided.

Basic computer skills to handle data entry and record keeping.

Solid attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a routine setting.

Forklift License desired but not essential.
