Machine and Production Operator (Campbellfield)

**The Position**: You will be a part of a production line, finishing timber / plywood boards to specification and size tolerances using hydraulic presses, power tools and machinery.

Your skills will include manufacturing or general mechanical experience. This is highly regarded, but not essential.

Do you enjoy working independently in a factory/warehouse environment? You will be using contemporary technology, as well as traditional woodworking and craftsmanship skills

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operation of machinery (press machinery and digital cutting machine);
- Working with plywood equipment (band saws and tooling);
- Quality control;
- Maintenance of a clean workplace at all times; and
- Contribution to continuous improvement.

**Skills and Experience -**
- At least 1 years previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Forklift licence ideal
- Must always hold a valid and unrestricted drivers licence
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet seasonal business demands
- Desire for a high level of accuracy and an eye for detail
- Have a solid history of being a reliable employee
- Have a can do attitude and zeal for continuous improvement
- Capable of working independently once trained

Pay: $50,000.00
- $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbellfield VIC 3061: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- production: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
