Waterjet Machine Operator (Campbellfield)

**Position**:Waterjet Machine Operator**

**Location**: Campbellfield, VIC

**Job Type**: Full time

**Starting Time**: ASAP

**Shift Schedule**: Mon to Fri

**Annual Salary**: $43-$47 per hr plus & Overtime

**Main Duties**:

- Set up & operate CNC waterjet and other machines according to benchtop specifications, ensuring alignment and calibration for optimal performance.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications.
- Operate machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
- Monitor machine operations closely, making necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity.
- General factory duties
- Working in a team and also independently

**ESSENTIAL**:

- _A_ stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the stone industry
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet and or bridge saw machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- A passion for stone craftsmanship
- Current working rights in Australia

**PREFERRED**:

- Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not required)
- White card
