Position:Waterjet Machine Operator

Location: Campbellfield, VIC

Job Type: Full time

Starting Time: ASAP

Shift Schedule: Mon to Fri

Annual Salary: $43-$47 per hr plus & Overtime

Main Duties:

Set up & operate CNC waterjet and other machines according to benchtop specifications, ensuring alignment and calibration for optimal performance.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications.

Operate machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Monitor machine operations closely, making necessary adjustments

Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity.

General factory duties

Working in a team and also independently

ESSENTIAL:

A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the stone industry

At least 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet and or bridge saw machines

Robust attention to detail

Ability to read plans and measurements

A passion for stone craftsmanship

Current working rights in Australia

PREFERRED:

Drivers Licence

Forklift Licence (desirable but not required)

White card
